Resolved Question: How hard is Georgia Tech???? ANYONE goes there please HELP?

The reason why I want to go to georgia tech is because I'll be closer to my family + my dad will keep his job, after all he is the only one who's feeding the family. But I am interested in the Engineering field, not sure what probably electrical or mechanical I was also looking towards NC State University or UNC Charlotte. But how hard is it? My high school grades were bad, 2.8ish GPA with 1300 something SAT ( i never worked hard) I did run cross country and track couple clubs. right now I am at a community college in North Carolina, 3.6ish GPA (which I am fearing will come down if I don't study). I am taking 3 classes to reduce the burden but that will delay me, i could care less, i want to pass not worry about when I graduate. PLEASE HELP!!!... Read More »
